Creative Director
Troy Hawkins, Director of 101 Design has over 7 years of expertise in Graphic Design, Web Design and the Advertising Industry. Before establishing 101 Design, Troy graduated at the University of Wollongong Majoring in Graphic Design and New Media.
Once graduated, Troy gained valuable experience in North Sydney working on accounts such as BMG Music, Toyota and Nikon. This experience gave Troy the opportunity to work for Telstra's Advertising Agency, Sensis.
Working out of the Sensis' Wollongong office gave Troy experience as a designer before moving into a Advertising Editor position where he oversaw the cover design of the nationwide Yellow and White Pages, as well as managing major local accounts.
After gaining such broad experience in both the online and print industry, Troy was able to establish 101 Design in Wollongong, where he set out to provide, creative yet practical design solutions for his clients.
101 Design is now branching out into Event Management and Marketing Solutions as our client bases continually expands into the Sutherland, Macarthur and Sydney areas, as well as internationally with P&O Ports Limited.
Art Director
Lisa Hawkins, is our enthusiastic and talented art director. Majoring in Graphic Design and New Media, Lisa graduated at the University of Wollongong and also studied at the University of New South Wales and University of Technology Sydney, where she specialised in Visual Communication and Interactive Design.
With a background in advertising, publishing, illustration, web design and creative studio work, Lisa provides creative solutions with diverse design styles to meet the unique requirements and goals that each client or campaign needs.
Lisa's design work has been primarily based in Sydney and the North Shore, as well as nationally and internationally. Her experience has extended across a wide variety work within the graphic design industry, designing for clients such as the United Nations (UN), Subway, Arnette, Chanel & Engin Broadband.
Marketing Consultant
Tracey Needham has lived and worked in Wollongong for over 20 years. Tracey worked as District Manager for GIO Australia, Branch Manager for Horizon Credit Union and Marketing Manager for Travel and Tourism Sector of TAFE Dapto Campus. This gave her the experience, and expertise that she has now devoted to 101 Design.
Tracey has dealt with such clients as: The Illawarra Grammar School, WIN Entertainment Centre, Sure Slim Wollongong, TAFE Travel and Tourism Division, Illawarra Tourism, Austbrokers City State, Work Directions, Barrington Homes, Leisure Coast Kitchens, P & O Ports Limited and National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Tracey and her team branching out to Corporate Event Management and co-ordination, as well as developing Marketing Strategies and Sales Advice for many small to medium sized Businesses.
